At Fast Lane Sports Therapy our aim is to provide each patient with the individual care and attention that they need, which is why we are primarily a cash-based practice.
Every insurance company has a separate set of rules stating which types of treatment they will pay for, the number of visits they will allow, and how much they will contribute towards your treatment. A treatment might be classified as out-of-network or might not be included in your particular insurance plan. If that's the case, you may need to pay a co-pay, meet your deductible or still have a co-insurance and be responsible for some of the cost, even if the treatment you receive is covered. This adds a lot of layers what treatments are allowed form insurance, in addition to administration time in communicating and billing them.
We choose to be mainly a cash practice because it does not limit what insurance will cover and can recommend the treatment that is best for each individual patient. This allows us to create treatments specific to your goals and recovery, without any restrictions of what insurance dictates we can do.
It also means that we spend less time doing insurance forms and billing, and can spend more time focusing on our patients and giving them individual care.
We provide transparent, upfront pricing for your treatment so you won’t have to worry about hidden costs or what your insurance may or may not cover. Most importantly, we can concentrate on providing the highest quality care to every patient without the constraints of the insurance industry, helping them achieve their goals, recover from injury, move better and feel better faster.
